Hey everyone, I'm Sarah!
I have a BA in photojournalism and enjoy experimenting with many kinds of photography, but my primary interest is portraiture. I attended Rocky Mountain School of Photography's Career Training program in 2011, ran a business in consumer portraiture for a while, then started working as an instructor and teaching assistant for RMSP before Forest and I took over the direction of the school in 2016.
I have successfully completed multiple (as in seven) "365 projects," (take a photo a day for a year) and once made it to 155 consecutive days of making self portraits. I have always gravitated toward website design and I also fell in love with writing in college, which are both now my primary specialties, although I also enjoy teaching other techniques, from image editing to mindset management to self portraiture.
Passionate about people, I love helping others learn how to trust their own abilities and get out of their own way.
I also love image editing, being outside, cooking & baking, film photography, Forest, and our awesome kids.
